Frequently Asked Questions
Tetra recommends replacing cartridges every 4 weeks. Many experienced fishkeepers extend this to 6-8 weeks by rinsing in old tank water to preserve beneficial bacteria.
It can be used on saltwater tanks for mechanical filtration but lacks the protein skimming needed for marine setups. A dedicated marine filter system is recommended.
